UofL Hospital, School of Nursing host free advanced practice conference Oct. 25, CEUs available
UofL Hospital and the UofL School of Nursing will host a free advanced practice conference on Friday, October 25¬†focusing on health care-related legislative updates and a wide range of acute and primary care topics.
The daylong conference is open to all advance practice registered nurses and will take place at the Kosair Charities Clinical and Translational Research Building, 505 S. Hancock St. Attendees will obtain 6 CEUs, including pharmacology hours. Lunch and free parking will be provided.
Beth Partin, the Kentucky state representative for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners who practices family medicine in Columbia, Ky., will be the keynote speaker.
Other keynotes include concussion care and Hepatitis A, B and C.
